The
COLUMBIA PRO CANTARE CHORUS – since 1977 a
community institution and a dedicated musical force – welcomes you to its
website. Founded to take advantage of the choral talent and concert
venues in the new town of Columbia, Maryland, the CPC Chorus and CPC Chamber
Singers have made it possible for talented area singers to perfect and
demonstrate their art and for music lovers to experience the benefits of their
performances. In Columbia, Baltimore, Washington D.C., central and
eastern Maryland, and beyond, the Columbia Pro Cantare has consistently
presented choral music from the best European and American compositions of the
last four centuries while commissioning more than twelve new works and premiering many
