Columbia Pro Cantare's Mission
The Columbia
Pro Cantare Chorus is a nationally recognized mixed chorus of auditioned
volunteer singers, based in Howard County, Maryland. To our growing regional audience we seek to
present the finest choral literature in concerts of high artistic
quality and to provide enriching musical experiences for musicians and
non-musicians alike.
Columbia
Pro Cantare invites all who appreciate its music to help financially by
supplying in kind services, by supporting fundraising activities, by
donating cash and other assets, and by encouraging friends to
participate in the musical experiences the chorus offers.
To
accomplish its mission and keep its prices
affordable, Columbia Pro Cantare must raise 30% of its budget
each year from individual and corporate donations in an Annual Fund
campaign. In addition, in 2002 an Endowment Fund was established under
the management of the Columbia Foundation. Contributions to
the endowment fund ensure the long term stability of the Pro Cantare
and allow it to concentrate on its mission of providing enriching
musical experiences to our singers and our audience.
Gifts
to the Annual and Endowment Funds are typically acknowledged for one
year in all of Pro Cantare's concert programs.

The
Columbia Pro Cantare is a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts
organization. All donations are tax deductible. Payments should be made to "Columbia Pro Cantare" or "CPC."
Gifts
of cash or appreciated stock will be gratefully accepted and can
be made by mail, credit card, or wire
transfer. Also, you may be able to increase the value of your gift if
your employer makes matching gifts to non-profits. Please inquire.
