On the concert stage he sang the Verdi Requiem with the Fairfax Choral Society, and he returned to Columbia Pro Cantare for their annual Messiah.  Mr. Reid will be busy at the Metropolitan Opera for much of the 2002-2003 season, appearing in their productions of Parsifal (4th Esquire), Turandot (Pong), and View from the Bridge (Tony), and he will cover roles in Les Troyens, and Midsummer Night's Dream.

Career highlights include his 1998 Metropolitan Opera debut in Richard Strauss' Capriccio, as well as debuts at Opera Carolina (Pang in Turandot), Connecticut Opera (Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni), Opera Francais de New York (Alphonse in Zampa), and Glimmerglass Opera (Lennie in Of Mice and Men).  Mr. Reid's outstanding musicianship and beautiful voice are frequently in demand for concert performances, including Messiah at Carnegie Hall, Messiah Festival (Independence, MO), Columbia Pro Cantare, and the Masterwork Chorus (NJ); Creation (Southwest Florida Symphony), and performances with Washington Bach Consort, Maryland Handel Festival, Mostly Mozart Festival (Lincoln Center), Fuma Sacra, Spoleto Festival USA, Central City Opera, Paul Hill Chorale, Galveston Symphony, Houston Masterworks Chorus, Cathedral Choral Society, and the Western Maryland Symphony.  He has won numerous prestigious awards including the 1997 Richard Tucker Music Foundation Jacobson Study Grant, Grand Prize Winner of both the Florida Grand Opera YPO Competition and the Annapolis Opera Vocal Competition, the Loren L. Zachary National Voice Competition and New Jersey State Opera International Vocal Competition.
